PAUL CURRAN HAS relinquished his role as manager of Ballymun Kickhams.

In a statement this afternoon, the Dublin club confirmed the 1995 All-Ireland winner was stepping down as manager.

Curran led Kickhams to county and provincial glory in 2012 but they would lose out to St Brigid’s in the 2013 All-Ireland final; Frankie Dolan’s point winning the game in stoppage time for the Roscommon outfit.

The Ballymun Kickhams statement reads:

“The executive of Ballymun Kickhams would like to thank Paul Curran and his management team for all the work they have carried out over the past 4 years.

“Paul has decided not to continue on with management in 2015 and we wish him well in all his future endeavours.

“Applications are now open for the post of senior manager with Ballymun Kickhams

“Applications will be taken until close of business Monday 1 December.”
